Antique Victorian Silver Calling Card Case hallmarked for Birmingham 1882 by renowned makers HILLIARD & THOMASON.

Shaped wavy edge design with wonderful Aesthetic Movement Style Bright cut engraving featuring birds, butterflies, bees, palm trees and foliage.

Measuring 9 cm x 7 cm and weighs 61.7 grams.

In very good condition, some surface wear, scratches and small dings, hallmarks clear, shuts well with a bit of movement at the hinge, however it does close well and remains closed even when held upside down (ie. It doesn’t spring open on its own)
