The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has an English stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
It is all protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for London 1900 with a maker’s mark for J W Benson. The case is in lovely condition. The back has a central cartouche with the initials PNF, surrounded by engine turned detail which is still nice and crisp.
The glass lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in very nice condition. Pin set hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
