The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this Silver Jw Benson Pocket Watch to the 1920s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1923, with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison, the Birmingham case maker. The case is in lovely condition.

The glass lens has a little marking underneath, probably where residue from an old sizing label.
The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, J W Benson. It is in beautiful condition with original hands blued steel hands.
The watch comes in the vintage J W Benson presentation box.
