Modelled as a stylised tree or plant form with central stem issuing three scrolling arms, the look is almost Hollywood Regency
There is a glass dish at the top
Each arm terminating in a candle holder formed as a leaf cup with naturalistic detailing
The branches adorned with hand-worked leaves, ferns and organic motifs throughout
The central column decorated with layered foliage giving a strong sense of movement and growth
Raised on an ornate Rococo revival base with scrolling acanthus and shell motifs
The base with pierced and cast decoration adding depth and shadow
Beautiful contrast between the crisp silvered finish and darker undertones in the recesses A very sculptural and decorative piece almost botanical in feel
