Description

Antique English pewter porringer of 16 fluid ounce capacity (1 pint to the Old English Wine Standard). The porringer has a bossed base and an attractive 'ear' handle. There are good turning marks to the underside.

Circa 1700.

The condition is excellent with a fine polished silver grey finish.

There are no makers marks.

Size:

Bowl diameter: 5.00in (12.5cm).

Depth: 1.75in (4.50cm).

Capacity: 16 floz, 1 pint OEWS.
