The face of the ring is designed as a shield measuring 13mm x 12mm. This ring is fully stamped for Chester and the year 1898 and is 9ct rose gold. The makers mark is I S & Co which appears to stand for Isaac Silverston & Co established 1886. The ring tapers from 13mm at its widest point to 4mm wide at the band.
