An Edwardian Mahogany Bureau Bookcase C1900

An Edwardian Mahogany bureau bookcase and dating from around 1900. This wonderful example has a dental moulded cornice with a strung lip underneath. It has two Astragal glazed doors with strung door frames and a key with three fully adjustable shelves inside. The base has a moulded edge to the fall front with an inlaid centre with a key. Inside are pigeon holes and two small draws. Under the desk are two short above two long graduating Oak lined drawers with original handles and a cross banded edge to the drawer fronts. It stands on bracket feet and separates into two pieces for ease of movement.
