The base has a fall front which has a moulded edge and is Satin wood strung. Inside are three small drawers above pigeon holes with foux leather writing surface. It then has two short over two long graduating Mahogany lined drawers with original Brass handles and Satin wood strung drawer fronts. It stands on cabriole legs with a shaped frieze between and the top lifts off the base.
