A very good quality English William IV antique solid sterling silver sauce or gravy ladle. It is hallmarked for London 1836 with the makers mark being that of Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater. It has been superbly made being engraved with the crest used by the Hunt family. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, the odd tiny mark. It measures approx. 7 inches (18cm) long by 2.5 inches (6.5cm) wide and weighs 58 grams. A high quality very interesting piece.
