Description

Superb quality walnut cupboard over four height drawers from a large country house and retailed by Simpsons and Sons of Halifax. The solid brass handles are all original and the upper cupboard is lined in Birds Eye maple The mahogany lined drawers all run well and have marvellous burr walnut fronts .The glass in the doors is bevelled and there is the facility for pleated curtains with original brass rods to mount them still present This came from a large house and although the plinth and cornice is removable for transport the main body of the piece still measures 183 by 86 by 64 cm
