Mid Victorian Mahogany bookcase circa 1870

A handsome mid-Victorian bookcase, beautifully crafted in solid timber with a rich warm tone and classic proportions. This elegant two-part piece features a glazed upper section with three adjustable shelves, ideal for displaying books, ceramics, or collectibles. The interior has a traditional painted finish that enhances the period character.

The lower section comprises two cushion-front drawers, with two door cupboard below fitted with a single shelf offering practical storage while maintaining the refined Victorian aesthetic. Subtle carved detailing to the corners and a moulded cornice add further charm and authenticity..
