Beautiful Yalameh Carpet Room Size 310 X 206

Description

This is a beautiful handwoven woollen Yalameh carpet with an attractive colourful design dating from around 1930. The carpet has typical Yalameh repeat diamond pattern with polychrome diamonds of rich red, gold and ivory set within a dark indigo field and colourful geometric borders. These carpets look great within both modern or more antique settings. The carpet is a good hand woven example with a nice thick even pile.

Hand washed and ready for years of service.

This carpet is in excellent clean condition throughout and is a great room size measuring 310 cms by 206 cms.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
