Regency Rosewood Open Bookcase.

Description

A Regency rosewood open bookcase. The figured top crossbanded in bird’s eye maple above a frieze with centre and end applied carved paterae, the side columns also crossbanded in maple, either side of three shelves of which the top one is 21.5 cm tall and the other two are 25.5. The bookcase stands on a plinth base with moulded top edge. Fine colour and patina, a useful bookcase in original condition throughout. English Circa 1825.
