Small Antique 22ct Gold Diamond Ring c1878. This is a lovely Ring with 0.15ct natural and bright old cut Diamond. The old cut diamond measures approx - 3mm by 3mm and is approx 0.15ct. The diamond is set securely in a deep star setting in diamond shaped gold. The diamond shape is 8mm wide and the band width is 3mm. This ring is in very good original condition for its age with no evidence of resizing, no thinning or chips to the diamond. The gold has some wear in accordance with its age. The ring is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 22ct and the year c1878. This ring is a small size and could only be resized by a few sizes up or down. May also be used as a pinky ring, or for the smaller hand it would make a beautiful Antique wedding band, or a ring suitable for everyday wear. Ring Size UK J U.S 4 3/4 the total weight is 2g.
