A beautiful rare English Georgian antique solid sterling silver table snuff box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1826 with the maker being Edward Smith. It has been superbly designed with the cartouche to the lid has been engraved Robert Fyson. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The hinge is smooth and tight, the inside gilded and clean. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.4cm) long by almost 1.75 inches (4.1cm) wide by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) tall and weighs 82 grams. A high quality example.
