A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold religious pendant designed as an oval medal depicting the Virgin Mary within a halo. Signed E. Dropsy for Emile Dropsy. The reverse with an arched scrolling top surmounted by a ribbon tied in a bow suspending a pair of roses, and engraved 'N. C.L., 7 Mai 1911'. Stamped with the eagle’s head for French manufacture and 18 karat gold with an illegible maker's mark.
