Large 94g English Sterling Silver Gilt Coronation Baptism Spoon 1902 Edwardian

Description

A superb large English Edwardian antique solid sterling silver gilt spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1902 with the maker being the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company. It has been superbly made being a replica of the coronation spoon used to anointed the Kings and Queens of the Great Britain. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures over 10.25 inches (25.5cm) long by over 2 inches (5.5cm) wide and weighs 94 grams. A very nice quality unusual piece.

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
