Victorian Mahogany Open Bookcase

Description

A beautiful mahogany open bookcase of the highest quality dating from the mid to late 19th Century. The bookcase has an open front with three adjustable shelves flanked by square beaded columns with a carved acanthus leaf border at the top.

It is in very good condition for its age and displays beautifully. The mahogany has a lovely rich colour and it has developed a beautiful patina. There are some signs of age and use, a few minor marks and knocks and a couple of small repairs but nothing detrimental and no major damages. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
