An immaculate George III silver table top snuff box with engine turned finish and gilt lined interior, hallmarked Birmingham 1825. The heavy quality solid silver box, oblong in form with engine turned finish to the lid and base and blank polished cartouche in the centre of the lid. Reeded sides and cast flange to the front edge of the lid to aid opening. The hinged lid opening to reveal an immaculate unused gilded interior. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmith William Simpson along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Beautifully made and presented in immaculate unused condition.
