A superb quality George V silver gilt 3 piece Desk set that includes 2 candles, an inkwell with glass liner and a matching pen, all contained within a fitted velvet and silk lined box.
 
Hallmarked by Frederick Marson & Harry Jones, Birmingham 1929, comprising two candlesticks and a lidded inkwell, each of waisted circular form with beaded borders, together with a matching pen, all fitted within the original velvet and silk-lined fitted case. Candlesticks 6.5cm high
 
Condition: Very good. General surface wear, a few small dings and scratches, gilding rubbed in places, hallmarks clear, usual signs of wear commensurate of age and use.
 
A beautiful portable antique piece.
