Gilt and Gesso has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Each barrel features a matching Mail Coach scene to the front with 1 marked I Whisky and the other Rum.
The larger model antique Staffordshire barrels are in excellent structural condition whilst some rubbing wear is noticeable around the gilt painted banding around the top and sides, this is common and authenticates originality and character.

Whilst the barrels are adapted to lamps, they will require re-wiring.., available as they are, we can arrange wiring post purchase for apx £35 a lamp, subject to specification, please enquire.
We may end listing and consign to our workshop for wiring with braided fabric cable, new plugs, rocker switch and PAT test, we would then relist at a revised price, until then available as they are and priced sensibly to reflect.
