Description

A Victorian Single Full Sterling Silver Sovereign Case hallmarked for Birmingham 1894 by Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & Frank Shepherd.

Nice engine turning to both sides, vacant cartouche and hanging loop. Internally the coin holder is modelled as a lucky horseshoe.

Measuring 3 cm diameter and weighing 18 grams.

Condition: Very good, only surface wear and a few small dings and scratches, opens and closes well. Hallmarks a little rubbed but legible. Usual signs of wear commensurate of age and use.
