M Cross Antiques has dated this George IV Mahogany Bookcase to the Regency era.
The cupboard section has a reeded edge, below which is a full-length frieze drawer with brass lion's head ring pull handles. Below the drawer is a double-door cupboard with two baize-lined shelves. Raised on a base with reeded edging and bracket feet.

The overall condition is very good with age-related wear and tear. We have noted a small scuff mark to the right-hand side of the top section and some light sun fading to the doors but otherwise a delightfully proportioned piece of Regency furniture.
