Rare English Sterling Silver Tilting Tea Strainer & Drip Bowl Stand 1928

1900 - 1920
Description

A rare English antique solid sterling silver tilting tea strainer and drip bowl. It has been hallmarked for Sheffield 1928 with the makers mark being W&G. It tilts when you pour the tea hen tilts back to collect the drips. It has been superbly made and are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, the top section can be removed for cleaning. It measures 5.5 inches (14cm) across including the handle by over 2.25 inches (6cm) tall and combined weighs 68 grams. A very nice clean useable piece.
