Description:
This is a good quality antique English open Victorian oak bookcase / bookshelf, in the style of the Georgian period, circa 1860, measuring 3½ft wide, with a lovely golden oak colour, in excellent original condition.
The Victorian bookcase includes three height adjustable shelves, with a fixed fourth shelf at the base of the bookshelf. The metal lugs can be moved up or down to adjust the height of each shelf. The Georgian style bookcase stands on a block moulded plinth.

Condition Report:
This is a good quality antique English open Victorian oak bookcase / bookshelf, in the style of the Georgian period, circa 1860, measuring 3½ft wide, with a lovely golden oak colour, in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant, considering the age of the item. This bookshelf features a rich golden oak colour having been cleaned and French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop. The shelves and adjustable metal lugs are all intact (none are missing). The bookcase stands on its original plinth and retains its original plinth and original backboards. This bookshelf is solid in joint and ready to use.
