A rare Victorian English antique solid sterling silver vinaigrette box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1843 with the maker being Nathaniel Mills. It has been superbly designed with the lid being engraved with St Paul''s Cathedral. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, tiny scratch inside on the lid and possible erase to the base cartouche. The hinge is smooth and tight. It measures approx. 1.5 inches (3.6cm) across by 1 inch (2.6cm) tall and weighs 16 grams. A very high quality rare piece.
