Description

REGENCY ANTIQUE MAHOGANY BOOKCASE ON CHEST. An elegant antique mahogany bookcase on bowfronted chest of drawers. This useful piece of antique mahogany furniture is completely original and in superb condition. The bookcase section features eliptical astragal glazing bars, with the old, period ripply glass intact. The reeded front shelves are fully adjustable. The antique bow fronted chest of drawers has oak lined drawers complete with the original turned knob handles. This beautiful antique mahogany piece of furniture featues ebony and boxwood stringing inlay and inset, shaped ivory escuteons and it stands on ogee bracket feet. In wonderful, original condition, the lovely colour/patina is original too. Very well made. English. Circa: 1820. It would be great in a bedroom or bathroom.

Dimensions: 97cm wide x 200cm high x 48.5cm deep chest height: 86.4cm bookcase depth: 27cm.
