Catherines Antique Jewellery Box has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The chain is most rare and unusual in its design and has a lovely weight and feel to it. The chain itself is 3mm wide and 47cm long. The chain is in very good condition with wear in accordance with its age and excellent useable /wearable condition. It probably dates to the early part of the 20th century and has a very feint hallmark stamp for 9ct. The total weight is 5.5g.
