Description

An elegant 18th century walnut glazed bookcase of fine colour and patina.

The upper section features twin domed top above two arched glazed doors with a working key, opening to a velvet-lined interior with three height-adjustable shelves.

Below are two short drawers and four long drawers, all displaying richly figured walnut.

Beautifully crossbanded and boxwood string inlaid throughout, showcasing excellent craftsmanship.

The four long drawers lock individually with the same key — the key must remain inserted while unlocked and can only be removed when the drawer is locked.

No key for the two shorter drawers.

Raised on turned bun feet.

This breaks into 2 pieces for easy placement in the home.
