Beautiful Art Deco 18ct Gold Sapphire and Diamond Engagement Ring. Lovely quality Ring consisting of a large 7 x 4mm rectangular velvety blue coloured sapphire. the sapphire has been tested as sapphire but could be synthetic as it has no flaws at all.. This reflected in the price. The sapphire is surrounded by 12 sparkly quality round cut diamonds of 3 points each. Total diamond weight 0.36ct min, all stones set into platinum. The face is beautifully designed in a soft rectangle shape measuring 12mm x 9mm. The total face of the ring is 12mm x 9mm. Well made quality ring in very good condition, the white sparkle of the diamonds and the colour of the sapphire have wonderful life and a timeless romantic feel. Would make a wonderful classic engagement. Shank is fully hallmarked for 18ct gold, platinum and also the word 'LIFETIME' but no date stamp and probably dates to around the 1950s. This ring is size UK L and US 5 1/2 Weight 2.9g
