Antique Victorian Rosewood Marble Top Bookcase

Description

A beautiful antique Victorian rosewood marble top bookcase, made in England and dating from around the 1840-1860 period.

It is of fantastic quality and is a useful size. The rosewood has a gorgeous colour tone and stunning grain patterns, there is a wonderful original marble top that sits on top. There are adjustable shelves inside and finely carved corbels on the upper corners.

We have had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. The marble has one very small historical repair on the very back corner, seen in the close up images.
