A super quality rare English antique solid sterling silver vesta case. It is hallmarked for Chester 1911 with the maker being PE&Sons. It has been superbly designed being finely engraved with the insignia of the Seaforth Highlanders, the reverse read For Musketry. Note it is left handed the hinge being on the right. The inside has been gilded. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures over 2 inches (5.6cm) tall by 1.75 inches (4cm) wide and weighs 34 grams. A beautiful rare piece.
