Catherines Antique Jewellery Box has dated this piece to the 1910s.
This ring is in excellent condition for its age with no evidence of resizing or chips to the ruby, there is slight thinning to the back of the band. The gold and ruby is of lovely colour. The ring is fully hallmarked for Chester 18ct and the year c1917. This ring would make a beautiful Antique wedding band, or a ring suitable for everyday wear.
