A Georgian cut glass scent bottle is a small personal container produced during the Georgian era, typically used to hold liquid perfumes or smelling salts on a dressing table or carried in a pocket.

These bottles were commonly crafted from lead glass or crystal featuring hand-cut facets, paired with fitted caps or screw tops made of silver, gold, or base metals.

Authentic pieces typically exhibit hand-cut facets with slight irregularities, wear consistent with age on the base, and unmarked or hallmarked silver mountings appropriate for the period.

These small items can be displayed on a mirrored vanity tray, styled on a bathroom counter, or placed on a bookshelf as a subtle decorative accent.

Clean antique glass gently with lukewarm water and mild soap using a soft brush, avoiding harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, or abrasive materials that could damage the surface or metal fittings.
