This is a beautifully mounted piece of Wedgwood.
The jassperware base is an unusual terracotta colour.
The 9ct yellow gold has a rose colour tinge to it.
It is clearly hallmarked and has a substantial bale therefore could easily be suspended from chain or ribbon.
The outer surface of the frame has detailed beading.
Approx 3/4ofnan inch in diameter
A great gift for a Wedgwood collector, not only due to its unique colour , but also as its mounted in solid gold as opposed to the often used silver or silver gilt.
