Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Georgian blue and white transferware refers to earthenware produced in Britain during the late 18th and early 19th centuries using copperplate engraving techniques to transfer ink patterns onto ceramic bodies before glazing.

These items were predominantly constructed from earthenware or pearlware bodies, decorated with cobalt oxide underglaze tissue prints, and sealed with a clear lead glaze.

Authentic pieces frequently display minor transfer seam alignment overlaps, stilt marks on the underside from kiln firing, slight glaze crazing, and impressed or printed maker marks typical of Staffordshire potteries.

Designers frequently mount sets of transferware plates in geometric arrangements on wall spaces, display them within traditional dresser shelves, or set them against neutral backdrops in contemporary dining rooms.

Clean earthenware manually using warm water and a mild non-abrasive detergent, avoiding dishwashers, microwave exposure, and prolonged soaking which can compromise crazed glazes.
