This exceptional antique George III sterling silver snuff box has a plain rectangular rounded form.

This antique snuff box retains the original flush hinged hallmarked cover, surmounted with an inset secondary cover with a subtly elevated thumbpiece; the flush hinges indicate the high quality of the piece.

The secondary cover of this sterling silver box allows access to a pill box.
The interior of each compartment bears the original gilding.
Such examples of Georgian silverware are rare to the market.
