A very pretty German solid silver box. It is hallmarked with a makers mark for Albert Bodemer of Germany and the 835 silver mark. It dates to c1950. It has been beautifully made with the lid being cast with roses and the inside being vibrantly gilded. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs,it closes tightly. It measures over 2 inches (5.7cm) across by 1.5cms tall and weighs 44 grams. A beautiful piece.
