N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
The stool has been made in the traditional manner with pegged joints. The photographs do not do this any justice and do not convey the lovely rich colour of the stool.

The top has been nicely shaped to the edge. It has a simple freeze below the top to all four sides. Then as you move down the stool legs are superbly turned and are a nice design, which sets it off beautifully.

This stool could quite happily sit in the center of a room as all side are superb. To demonstrate this we have photographed all sides of the table. These stools could equally be used as occasional tables or lamp stands.

DIMENSIONS:
The approximate MAXIMUM dimensions are:
17 1/4 inches (44 cm) wide.
11 1/4 inches (28.5 cm) deep across legs and 10 1/2 inches (26.5 cm) deep across the top.
18 1/8 inches (46 cm) high.
AGE:
The stool is circa 1800.

CONDITION:
From the photograph you can see that this is a superb stool which are in lovely condition just minor knocks / marks / shrinkage lines commensurate with age and careful use as would be expected with a piece over 200 years old. Please take time to view the photographs which are an integral part of the description.

Overall These are wonderful stools which will look super in any room they are placed, so happy bidding.
