A beautifully designed rare large English solid sterling silver holy communion paten. It is hallmarked for London 1967 with the makers marks being BO&WLd. It has been beautifully made being gilded to the centre and having cross pierced handles. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures almost 10 inches (25cm) across by 6 inches (15cms) and weighs 246 grams. A beautifully designed rare piece.
