Large Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Acorn Pattern Bottle Opener 1917 Bareware

Description

A superb Danish solid sterling silver Art Deco bottle opener. It has been hallmarked STERLING DENMARK along with English import marks and the makers mark of Georg Jensen, the date mark is difficult to read but this Jensen mark was used 1915 to 1919. It has been superbly made to what is known as the Acorn (Konge) pattern. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, the odd faint mark. It measures approx. 6.25 inches (116cm) long by 1.5 inches (3.7cm) wide and weighs 54 grams. A very nicely made piece.

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the 1910s.
