Tall Satinwood Bookcase - With Inlay - c1860

This open display bookcase is crafted in Satinwood. The piece has attractive inlay and stringing to the front.

The piece stands at 2.25m tall (7' 5") and is in good solid order (see images below for the full dimensions).

Four shelves are easily adjustable with slot in side supports.

The bookcase sits upon a continuous plinth and the upper is finished with an attractive crown moulding.

The construction of the piece is good.

Overall this is a nice item of furniture that is in good antique order throughout. The choice of satinwood timber is unusual for a piece of this size and adds to the rarity and interest.
