A Handsome George IV Irish Silver Basting/stuffing Spoon

A handsome Irish silver stuffing or basting spoon from the reign of King George IV. This wonderful, sought after example is of good gauge silver and is in Fiddle pattern. It has a rat-tail to the reverse of the bowl (something peculiarly Irish on a fiddle pattern shape) and is top marked (hallmarks at the top reverse of the handle). The spoon is of good proportions and gauge and an Irish example is a great find. Dimensions below.
