Constructed in feathered Spanish Mahogany, with holly inlays, rising on castor capped tapered legs: three mahogany lined drawers with quadrant mouldings in the apron; the superstructure of bow form, fitted with banks of three drawers flanking the tooled leather writing surface, which in turn has a reading easel, and to the back six further fitted drawers, all with handles of rectangular shape. Two curved postbox cupboards in turn, flank the central bank.
