A beautiful antique solid sterling silver dish or bowl. It is hallmarked with Egyptian pseudo marks (to look like English marks) and the 800 silver standard mark, it tests as such. It has been beautifully made possibly as an early tourist piece (c1900-1920) being engraved with Ancient Egyptian scenes. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 5 inches (22.8cm) across by 2.25 inches tall and weighs 96 grams. A very pretty piece.
