Description

A smart and beautifully made antique neoclassical style mahogany open bookcase. It was made in England, and dates from around the 1930’s.

The quality is superb, this has a lovely breakfront design and is a very useful size. The proportions are nice and slim, yet with plenty of storage space. There are four uprights at the front edges, with bronze Corinthian column style tops and bases. It is polished inside and sits on a plinth base.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and patina.
