Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

During the Georgian era in Britain, pewter ale jugs served as standard liquid vessels in public houses, taverns, and domestic settings for serving beer, cider, and water.

18th-century pewter consisted primarily of a tin alloy combined with lead or copper, cast in section moulds, assembled using solder, and finished on a lathe.

Authentic pieces typically feature hand-soldered seams, cast construction, maker touchmarks or capacity verification stamps, and natural surface patination or oxidisation.

Pewter jugs function well as decorative objects on open kitchen shelving, sideboard surfaces, or dressers, contrasting against warm timber or contemporary stone counter tops.

Clean gently using warm water and mild dish soap with a soft sponge, avoiding abrasive polishes or chemical cleaners that strip the historical oxidised patina.
