Antique Waltham Riverside full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a 17-jewel stem-winding movement, Riverside grade, which is working nicely. This is a good quality movement with screw-set jewels in gold settings, Church 1892 patent regulator and Breguet hairspring. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 10521592 which dates it back to 1901.

The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some light scratching.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and was made by the Keystone Watch Case Company. It is beautifully decorated on both the front and the back, and the condition is good.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover (it opens a little further than the original 90 degrees). Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The signed dial looks good to the naked eye. If viewed through a jeweller’s loupe, there is a small patch of short light hairlines next to number 4, but they are very light.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
