The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this Waltham Half Hunter Pocket Watch to the 1910s.
The watch has a 17-jewel stem-winding movement, P S Bartlett grade, which is working nicely. This is a good quality movement with a Church 1892 patent regulator and a Breguet hairspring. It is fully signed and the serial number 23,102,807 dates it back to 1919. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is in lovely condition.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in lovely condition.
The signed dial has blued steel hands, including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time be read when the front cover is closed. There are three short hairlines at the top of the dial but they are quite difficult to see with the naked eye.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
