This superb quality single stone ring has a very bright white old European cut diamond of 3.4mm x 3.4mm diamond weight of 0.15ct. The bright diamond sparkles so beautifully and is set into an illusion setting which makes it look bigger 9the face of the ring is 5mm x 5mm) and an unusual hand carved pierced gallery to the shoulders and 'neck' of the ring. The setting is most unusual, rare and of high quality gold work. The ring is stamped for 14ct and probably dates to the Edwardian era or 1920s. This ring would make a wonderful engagement brimming with antique charm. The diamond is set in a strong and protective setting. The ring is in excellent condition for its age, the shank is in very good condition and not worn, there are no chips, nibbles or cracks to the stone and only wear in accordance with age.
